Microsoft Windows Vista SP1

I found out yesterday that Microsoft had just released Service Pack 1 for Vista. This on some level excites me and concerns me both. On one hand Microsoft has stated that this will address speed and security issues. (Mostly the way it handles asking question for every little thing you do, you know the UAC Default Option) Thoughts are just a couple of things that are addressed. I welcome the fact that they are willing to put updates out to improve there product but this also has a down side to it. I read that this will cause issues with some Antivirus, Spyware and other applications. They may work in-part or not at all. I will be keeping an eye on my favorite blog sites to see if there are any issues with the update.

Could it be that Microsoft has seen the light on CSS3?

It appears that Microsoft Internet explorer will support CSS3. It's about time! Safari 3 and Firefox 3 have already implemented the standards. For years Microsoft has stubbed their noses at the W3C and only implementing only the standards that they consider business essential. While the creative community has had to create work-a-rounds to view there website correctly in 3 different browser (IE, Firefox and Safari). Although IE8 is in the beta phase, it has promise. Some of the Acid test still don't render correctly I have high hopes that it will conform. I'm currently testing IE8 to see if any of the websites that I had created will render correctly. As of right now, there okay. Time will only tell if Microsoft will keep good on there word.
